Rare Essence was founded in 2013 and was born from a passion of creating and burning beautifully fragrant soy wax candles. What started as a hobby has evolved into a thriving business based around sharing our creations.
Rare essence specialised in creating personalised candles for your wedding, baby shower, christening or any other special event. Every Rare Essence soy candle is hand poured with 100% soy wax and cotton wicks giving a beautiful burn each and everytime.
Rare Essence collection of candles, melts and diffusers are hand poured in Bayswater North, Melbourne, Victoria and they will leave your house smelling amazing.
Candle Care and Safety
Candle Care
There are a number of things you can do to ensure you have the best experience possible when burning your candle.

Always place the candle on a level surface to ensure an even melt pool

Trim the wick(s) to about 5mm before lighting every time.

Burn the candle long enogh to allow the melt pool to reach the edge of the container but no much longer.

Allow the candle to fully cool and set before relighting.

Keep the candle out of wind. Even a light breeze can effect the burn.

Keep the candle clean. That is, don’t allow pieces of burnt wick, or any other foriegn object, to accumulate in the wax.

Store candles in a cool (not cold) dry place out of direct sunlight.
